Forged Coaching ("we", "us") provides client-management software for fitness coaches and their clients at forgedcoaching.app. This policy explains what we collect, how it's used, and the choices you have. The short version: your data exists to run your coaching relationship, it's shared with your coach (that's the product) and the service providers that power the app, and we don't sell it to anyone.
Coach accounts: name, email, password (stored as a salted hash, never readable), profile/public-page content you write, and affiliate identifiers.
Client data (entered by you or your coach): name, email, phone number, intake-questionnaire answers, weekly check-ins (weight, adherence and wellness ratings, notes, answers to your coach's questions), progress photos, training and nutrition plans, supplement/compound protocol records, bloodwork values you choose to sync, messages with your coach, and your coach's feedback (including video).
Automatically: basic technical logs (IP, browser type, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service. We do not run advertising trackers.
To provide the service: your check-ins, photos, plans, and messages are shown to your coach (and their feedback is shown to you) — that visibility is the core function. We also use your phone number to send transactional texts (check-in links, review notifications, reminders — reply STOP to opt out; message and data rates may apply) and your email for service notifications.
AI features: when your coach uses the check-in co-pilot, your check-in data, history, protocol records, and progress photos are processed by Anthropic (Claude) to generate a briefing for your coach. When your coach records video feedback, the audio is transcribed by OpenAI (Whisper). These providers process the data to deliver the feature; we don't permit them to use it to train their models under our API terms.
Your coach (and, for coaches, your clients — each side sees what the product shows them). Beyond that, only the infrastructure that runs the app: Supabase (database and private file storage), Vercel (hosting), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), Anthropic and OpenAI (the AI features above). Each receives only what its function requires. We do not sell personal data, and we don't share it with advertisers.
Product links inside the app (for example restock links your coach attaches) may point to third-party stores and carry your coach's affiliate code. Those sites have their own privacy policies — what you do there is between you and them.
Progress photos and feedback videos live in private storage and are served through short-lived signed links — they are not public URLs. Your coach can only share your photos or progress outside the app (for example in their own content) with your consent; the platform records a consent flag, but the responsibility for honoring it is your coach's.
Data is kept while the coaching relationship and account are active. Coaches can delete a client, which removes the client's records (check-ins, photos, plans, messages) from the platform. To delete your account or anything in it, ask your coach or email us at coaching@forgedbloodwork.com and we'll handle it.
Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere), passwords are hashed, database access is restricted to the application layer, and media lives in private buckets behind signed URLs. No system is perfect — if we ever learn of a breach affecting your data, we'll notify affected users promptly.
Forged Coaching is for adults 21 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor's data is on the platform, email us and we'll remove it.
Forged Coaching is record-keeping and communication software for coaching. It is not a healthcare service, your coach is not acting as your medical provider through this platform, and nothing in the app is medical advice. Bloodwork values you sync are displayed for coaching discussion, not diagnosis.
